My new bag from Felted and fleece.
Today i received this stunning felt sheepy bag through the post from the lovely felted and fleece, I love it!! It's such a great size it could be used for all sorts of things from an everyday bag to a project bag,you could easily fit in a folder or two if you were heading off to college...it would even make a really posh knitting bag. The bag itself is very sturdy felt and the stitching has been machine done and feels very strong. I love the colour way too, dark charcoal grey with a bright bright red inside. Red happens to be my fave colour and this bag will go wonderfully with my red coat. Now to the best bit...the sheep...these have been needle felted on and are the colours of the rainbow...too cute and perfect for where i live in Shetland. I have often said i think Shetland sheep should be multi coloured and i too make needle felted sheep in all colours of the rainbow. The felting is top quality and very well felted into the bag....it will last the test of time!
Overall i am in love and would like to highly recommend this rainbow sheep bag. If this is anything to go by all this lovely lady's work will be first class and i will be back for more!
OK so i have been asked why i would buy a bag like this when its clear i could make my own. The answer to this question is simple really....but i didn't make it,did i!! Yep i could needle felt onto a bag and i'm sure it would turn out fine BUT i like to support fellow artists and crafters and i won't ever copy anyone's work!!.The only way crafters can try to make a living doing what they love is if we support them by spending our money on their beautiful creations!! Sure we could all just make things for ourselves, probably cheaper than we can buy them but isn't it heartwarming to know that you are helping someone else realize their dreams and ambitions? I personally love collecting fellow artists work and hope that they get the same feeling i do when i sell something. Nothing quite beats that feeling when someone is willing to part with their hard earned cash to take home something you have made....its amazing!
Anyways Felted and Fleece can be found on facebook and they have a website too..please stop buy and say i sent you over.
Thanks for reading my first ever review...it was fun.
